Country music has always been a part of Lacy’s life. For Christmas one year Lacy received a karaoke machine along with several CD’s of her favorite artist’s karaoke tracks. At this time, Lacy sang Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, etc. She quickly took the small town Opry circuit by storm; performing every weekend in different areas of Texas. Simultaneously, she started her own karaoke show in which she performed 3 sets and allowed guests to perform with her. She has been singing with a multitude of bands since she was 14 years old. She has done many charity events such as Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in which her signature song was “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor, numerous company and family picnics usually picking on someone from the audience, weddings, and even Jam Sessions. She has a background in musical theater at a local theater group, a guest appearance in a theater in downtown Houston, and was a part of the Clear Lake Metropolitan Ballet and Repertory Theater. She was cast as “Lily St. Regis” in her Junior High Play of Annie. Lacy has received such awards as “The Blossom” award for her performance of Grease’s Hopelessly Devoted, Entertainer of the month at Kirbyville Opry, and numerous contests.
What does Lacy do now? You can find her now a days working on her business in Las Vegas. She is almost ready to start working on her album.
